A few things you might be wondering
Do we both need the app?
Yes. One person creates a space and sends the other an invitation link. Your partner can join after installing the app and signing in. While you wait, you can add photos or leave a message.
What happens to my photos when I change phones?
Sign in with the same account to access photos and videos still saved in your space. Permanently deleted content cannot be recovered, including an archived space that has been cleared after its retention period.
Can my partner see when I am online?
No. HelloDear does not show online status, last-seen times, or read receipts. Your partner only sees the messages and status updates you choose to share.
What if we stop using our space?
You can archive it in the app. Neither person can add content to an archived space. If no one continues paying for storage, the space is cleared 30 days after the archive date or the end of paid storage, whichever is later. Check the date shown in the app. Once cleared, the content cannot be recovered. Archiving does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Can my partner take over payment?
Yes. Once the current paid period ends and the original subscription is confirmed to have stopped, the other original member can take over. Only one person pays for a space at a time. The app shows who is paying and when the paid period ends.
Is there an Android app?
HelloDear is currently available for iPhone only. There is no Android version yet.
